Overview

The SE2000 is Brother’s current 5 × 7 sewing and embroidery combination. Brother lists 193 built-in embroidery designs, 13 embroidery fonts, 241 built-in sewing stitches, embroidery speeds up to 650 stitches per minute and sewing up to 850.

Its embroidery specifications match the PE900: same 5 × 7 field, same design count, same speed, plus wireless transfer, Artspira and jump stitch trimming. The difference is the sewing side.

If you are buying your first and only machine and want to sew garments or home decor as well as embroider, the SE2000 is the natural 5 × 7 choice in Brother’s current line.

Lineup note: The SE2000 succeeded the SE1900 (now discontinued). The SE2000 adds Wi-Fi, Artspira and jump stitch trimming.
