The short verdict

Overview
The Singer SE9180 is a sewing and embroidery combo with a 170 × 100 mm included hoop and maximum embroidery size. Singer lists 150 designs, 10 fonts, over 250 stitches, embroidery up to 450 stitches per minute and a 7 inch color touch screen.
Two details matter. First, the manual says the machine can only load embroidery files in VP3 format, so most purchased designs need to be bought as VP3 or converted. Second, Singer’s own pages conflict on Wi-Fi and field size: the product bullets and manual describe Wi-Fi and a 170 × 100 mm hoop, while the FAQ says it is not Wi-Fi enabled and gives a different area. We list the bullet and manual figures and recommend confirming with the seller.
Lineup note: Singer’s product page FAQ conflicts with its own bullets and manual on Wi-Fi and embroidery area. Confirm before buying.

The 170 × 100 mm label is rounded. The real limit is 100 × 170 mm. Measure the stitched design, not the fabric or the outside of the hoop, and remember a design can sometimes fit after a 90° rotation. Use the hoop fit checker with this machine preselected.
